TAKE TEN! with Jen Gensits

Reap the rewards of yoga without overfilling your schedule. Whether you’re new to yoga, currently go to studio classes, have a home practice, or are coming back to yoga practice, this workshop is for you! Learn specific ways to incorporate the benefits of yoga into your daily life with short, doable, self-directed home or travel practice.

If you’re curious how you could benefit from short yoga breaks and/or ten-minute practice, come find out simple ways to weave a little strength, flexibility, vitality, and ease into your day. You may find that nurturing your physical, mental, and emotional well-being through yoga becomes a thread of continuity and stability in your life.

We’ll discuss ways to carve out ten minutes (or one minute!) for yoga and explore what to actually do with those minutes. There will be guidelines/structures offered, and suggestions about how to adapt these to your own needs. We will do some ten-minute practices and also take lots of ‘yoga pauses,’ concluding with a relaxing and refreshing savasana. There will be plenty of question and answer/discussion time. No yoga practice question or idea of yours is exempt from full exploration!

All levels, including beginners, are encouraged to come and enjoy this workshop!

Picture this: You spend four days at the spectacular beaches of St. George Is, FL in October—doing yoga, relaxing, and hanging out with cool people. Sound really good? Join us for this yoga beach retreat, for all that and more! 

Ellen will guide you in yoga, breathing, meditation, and other empowering mindfulness techniques that you can apply in daily life. You get to relax and renew in the retreat atmosphere, sharing the yogic practices and the pleasures of beach life with a wonderful community of fellow seekers. You'll have the time and space to re-discover and be guided by your own rhythms and to find new and deeply satisfying connections with yourself and others.

This is body-positive, judgment-free, keeping-it-real yoga, where we speak our truths and adapt the yoga practices as needed to meet our individual needs. Prior yoga experience is helpful but not necessary. All levels are welcome!

Price includes accommodations and six extended yoga classes, three additional optional Sunrise Yoga classes, and instruction in yogic breathing techniques, mindful eating, intentional silence, and mindfulness meditation.
