Come join us for this annual special event, Thursday night through Sunday noon. This retreat will be a blend of relaxing and having fun while practicing lots of yoga and pranayama, and some yogic meditation.
Enjoy the spectacular beaches of St. George Island, paradise practically in our own back yards. All you need is a desire to do lots of yoga and learn more deeply about the practices. You will be skillfully guided by Ellen, an experienced teacher/leader, while enjoying the support and companionship of a wonderful community of fellow travelers. Breathe, relax, renew, swim, and enjoy the pleasures of beach life and the deepening of your yoga practice, and still be back home at the end of the weekend.
The schedule includes multiple sessions of guided yoga practice and free time at midday and late afternoon. Friday and Saturday nights we will have a group dinner, followed by optional group activities for fun and connection— dancing, drumming, beach walking, etc. The retreat is in a beautiful 1st tier home across the street from the beach, just a 5-minute walk to the water. We have an incredible view of the Gulf from our yoga room, and we do pause for dolphin sightings! The house has a pool, multiple decks, and other amenities. RETREAT COST (Thursday through Sunday): $500 MINIMUM DEPOSIT to hold your space: $150 Deposit of $150 will hold your space. Deposit is non-refundable after 8/24/17. Payment in full is requested by 9/28/17 to assure your space. No refunds after 10/05/17. No exceptions. Please consider purchasing travel insurance.
Price includes sleeping accommodations and six extended yoga classes, three additional optional Sunrise Yoga classes, and instruction in yogic breathing techniques, mindful eating, intentional silence, and mindfulness meditation.
Prior yoga experience is helpful but not necessary.
The retreat is best suited for those free from current major physical challenges.
